Synopsis
A lyrical portrait of celebrated Canadian poet Elizabeth Smart, author of By Grand Central Station I Sat Down And Wept, featuring a dramatic portrayal by Jackie Burroughs, and narrated by novelist Michael Ondaatje. Powerful excerpts from Smart’s work, and rare, archival photographs create a compelling exploration of the conflicting claims of life and art.
