Fag Hags: Women Who Love Gay Men

A film by Justine Pimlott

2005

Feature and one hour documentary

Synopsis

Featuring comedian Margaret Cho and New York Activists S.W.I.S.H (Straight Women In Support of Homos), Fag Hags looks at a new generation of women who are reclaiming these two derogatory words as a badge of honor. Funny, irreverent and poignant, this film goes beyond Will & Grace to reveal the complexity of love and friendship between women and gay men.

Produced in association with CBC, SRC and the Canadian Television Fund.
