Synopsis

A provocative look at women, eroticism and desire through the lens of the female gaze, featuring Dominique Aury (a.k.a. Pauline Réage), the mysterious author of Story of O (Histoire d’O), in the final interview before her death; France’s most famous dominatrix, Catherine Robbe-Grillet (a.k.a. Jeanne de Berg), as well as photographers Bettina Rheims and Phyllis Christopher, performer Annie Sprinkle, filmmaker Candida Royalle, novelist Alina Reyes and others.

Produced in association with TVO, Canal D, Knowledge Network, Telefilm Canada, CTCFP, Rogers Documentary Fund, Canada Council for the Arts.
